Jeff Buccacio: Master Sculptor and Visionary

Jeff Buccacio began his illustrious career in 1995 in Los Angeles, California, where he worked on films and taught figurative sculpture at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Arts. Renowned for his role as a Lead Designer and Specialty Effects Sculptor, Jeff’s work has graced numerous blockbuster Hollywood films, including:

Jeff’s extensive experience in the film industry showcases his unique blend of creativity and precision, making him a highly sought-after artist in both the entertainment and public art sectors. His reverence for the great 19th-century sculptural interpreters of American patriotic themes is evident in his numerous commissioned public monuments.

Moving back to the East Coast in 2006, Jeff has over 25 years of experience in the Art of Bronze Patination and the Science of Fine Art Conservation. His work is so thorough, he guarantees it for life.

Nina Buccacio: A Journey from 2d to 3d Artitstry

Born in Milford, MA, Nina Buccacio has always possessed a remarkable artistic talent. From a young age, her creativity shone through in her passion for 2D art. This trajectory took a transformative turn when she met Jeff and was introduced to the captivating world of 3D sculpture and special effects.

During her time in California, Nina honed her skills as a hairstylist and makeup artist, working in prestigious salons in Beverly Hills and Manhattan Beach. Immersed in an artistic lifestyle, she quickly expanded her knowledge in design and fine art sculpture, inspired by influential museums like The Getty and various sculpture gardens. Surrounded by a vibrant community of talented artists and friends, Nina’s artistic vision flourished.

Marriage and children brought Nina and Jeff back to Boston, MA, where they co-founded Buccacio Sculpture Services (BSS). Drawing from her extensive skill set, Nina actively contributes to every facet of the sculpting process, including sculpture design, the lost wax process, mold making, metal pouring, and custom paint and patina.

From day one, Jeff and Nina have worked side by side, their synergy reflected in the exceptional commissioned works they produce. Many of their projects celebrate the lives of heroes and individuals of significant stature, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations. They take immense pride in collaborating with their incredible team of artists to create monumental pieces that stand tall as testaments to history. With a deep appreciation for the community life and traditions in the towns west of Boston, where they now live and work, Jeff and Nina continue to inspire and be inspired by their surroundings.
